1979 and 1980 cars have a chassis number like HLS130123456; 1981–1983 cars have a 17-character VIN starting with JN1. Both are on the plate at the left of the dash and in the door jamb.

There are two VIN layouts: the short chassis number used until March 1981, and the 17-character VIN after that. The S130 VIN and model plate page has the model plate and F.M.V.S.S. plate too.

Is one of these cars yours?
